There are seven styles of regular width, five condensed/extra
condensed (see Folio Condensed), and five wide styles;
incl. three italic styles (mager, schmalfett, breithalbfett). Sold
by FTF in France as
Caravelle [Reichardt 2011]. Alternates for ‘R’ (all),
‘Q’ (most) and ‘rß’ (some styles). Around 1962, Bauer added
biform
alternates for ‘AEMNR’ in breithalbfett and breitfett.
Adpatations for dry transfer lettering by Mecanorma as Folio-Caravelle and by
Letraset (with the straight-legged ‘R’ as only form).
