Bitstream

Founded in 1981 by Matthew Carter, Cherie Cone, Rob Friedman, and Mike Parker, and located in Marlborough, Massachusetts. Launched the font distribution website MyFonts in March 2000. Bitstream’s font business, including MyFonts, was acquired by Monotype Imaging in March 2012.
