Filler is an A4, 80-page magazine with soft touch cover, self-published, encouraging discourse around food and mental health. Issue 05: “The Future” explores future possibilities for food production, cooking and eating, and its relationship to our mental health and wellbeing.
Including debates around cellular agriculture, declining biodiversity and intensive farming, as well as the personal ritual of prescription medicine, local soil ecologies and humans’ relationship to/reliance on fungi – plus many more from 25 contributing artists and writers.
Designed and edited by Holly Eliza Temple, cover illustration by Taxi Cab Industries.
The logo uses a condensed style of Halibut; the interior pairs Folio with Hypnosis.
