An outlined and shaded set of bold gothic caps with straight-sided rounds. Designed by Milton Glaser and George Leavitt. First shown in Photo-Lettering’s 1969 Alphabet Yearbook as Glaser-Leavitt Eightway, in 16 variants: eight different shadow directions (North, East, South, West, Northeast, Southwest, etc.), all with open and solid shade. Later listed as Glaser-Levitt Eightway [sic] [PLINC One Liner 1971]
