Othello (ATF)

A reworking of Gustave F. Schroeder’s Othello (Central Type Foundry, 1884), designed by Morris Fuller Benton in 1934 for ATF. The corners are more rounded and the shapes generally more simplified.

For digital interpretations, see Velvet (Reserves, 2010) and Bathysphere (Kickingbird, 2013).

Not to be confused with the Monotype’s typeface of the same name.
