Hess Neobold 363 was designed by Sol Hess for Lanston Monotype in 1933 [Reichardt 2011], originally without lowercase.
Carried by VGC (with lowercase?), Photoscript (as Hess Mobold), and possibly other phototype suppliers. Digitized by “TTD” as DXS Hess Neobold (2010, used for sample), based on a showing in Dan X. Solo’s Art Deco Display Alphabets (Dover, 1982).
