BD Plakatbau is the typeface used for Kid A. The fourth studio album by English rock band Radiohead was released on 2 October 2000 by Parlophone. The artwork is by Stanley Donwood.
Plakatbau is a grunged interpretation of Herbert Bayer’s Universal-Alfabet which was first shown in 1926. Designed by Lorenz “Lopetz” Gianfreda in 1995, it’s available for free from Büro Destruct’s font label typedifferent.
