Photo typeface by the London-based Face Photosetting in 1969 [Reichardt]. Marvin was also distributed by Letraset (at least from 1971) and Mecanorma (shown in a 1974 catalog). Aliases include Uppers (Lettergraphics), Agencie (Typeshop), and Irving (Conways).
In the early 1990s, Thomas E. Harvey did a rather poor digitization named Marbold. [Typophile] A better and faithful digital version was provided by Steve Jackaman as Lodestone (Red Rooster Collection, 2017, used for the sample). Later in 2017, Marvin was reinterpreted and extended by Mathieu Triay as Marvin Visions.
