RCPAQAP
Omnes is the font used for branding the Quality Insurance Programs (QAP) of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA).
Omnes is used throughout the RCPAQAP’s communication, in a variety of print and digital collateral, from logo and stationery to website and exhibition signage. Omnes appears in a number of styles and serves both for display and text sizes. The identity was developed by Australian agency Equation.
The RCPA wordmark is set in venerable Bembo capitals. For the Quality Insurance Programs (QAP), the logo is augmented with red sans-serif letters from Omnes Medium (P was modified to echo the “fingertip” terminals found in other letterforms). The full names underneath are set in the light weight.
The website uses Omnes for all text, from top menu and sidebar items to headings and body copy. The versatile typeface appears in sizes ranging from 80px (on the homepage hero image) down to 13px (in the
breadcrumb navigation).
The website layout is composed of text elements in a number of coordinated font sizes and two colors, black and red. Omnes Bold is used for emphasis.
The branding elements—logo, the Omnes typeface, and dots in red, purple and grey—as applied to stationery items like certificates, letterheads, compliments slips, and business cards.
