From Shreeji:
Guia Domingo is a series of books created by Bebidas Domingo to celebrate and praise one of the most profound passions we share as Mexicans: tacos. It is a journey through taco stands or taquerías that, given their quality or success—or simply because they have combined a tortilla with salsa and something else so brilliantly—transcend in a city that certainly has good tacos. The first edition of Guía Domingo is called “By Far, the Best Tacos Mexico City” (Por lejos, los mejores tacos CDMX), the result of deep investigation by a multidisciplinary group of people obsessed with tacos and originated by labor of love, literally. Its purpose is to reference the great Mexican taquerías, but deep inside, it also searches for more continuity.
Tacos CDMX was designed by Rik Bracho in 2022. The typeface used for the cover is Herbus Bold. It’s also one of the recurring headline typefaces on the interior pages, alongside Futura Black, Brush Script, and Hobo. See more images on the Guía Domingo website and their Instagram account.
