A medley of various typefaces by Herb Lubalin. Herbus (Sep. 2019) largely (but loosely) follows ITC Busorama, with some elements borrowed from ITC Avant Garde Gothic (e.g. ‘M’, ‘Q’) and ITC Serif Gothic (‘D’). Herbus Bold (April 2020, used for sample) is bolder than Busorama’s boldest weight and hence is closer in feel to Serif Gothic Heavy. No lowercase. By 2026, the family was extended to three weights.
See Herbus Serif for a variant with flare serifs, added in April 2022 (initially as Herbus Pointy).
