X-Men: Children of the Atom is an arcade game released by Capcom in 1994 in Japan, and in 1995 in North America and Europe. It is a “beat ’em up” style fighting game, reminiscent of similar fighting games of the era, such as Street Fighter 2.

After its initial release in arcades, the game was also released on Sega Saturn and Sony Playstation 1 consoles, as well as on PC.

The X-Men logo is custom, using generic bold san-serif caps with dimensional and perspective effects and a gradient fill. The “Children of the Atom” sub-title is set in Caren Stencil. The letter R appears to have been modified by the designer.

The Capcom logo is based on ITC Korinna, see the dedicated post.
