ITC Fat Face

A wider version of LSC (Fat Face) Condensed, designed by Herb Lubalin and Tom Carnase. Lettergraphics had a swash variant.

Adopted by Mecanorma [Mecanorma 1980] who also had a Greek version [Mecanorma 1988].

URW credits their digital version to Phil Martin, 1971, indicating it’s based on an adaptation by Alphabet Innovations.
