The Shuttered Room and Other Tales of Horror is a collection of short stories by H.P. Lovecraft and August Derleth. First published by Panther Books in 1970 with a different cover, this is the 1973 printing.

The cover of this book combines Gill Sans Bold Extra Condensed with Gill Sans Extra Bold. The name of the author is in all caps. The wraparound art is uncredited.

    The same typography was used by Panther Books for a whole series of paperbacks with horror stories by H.P. Lovecraft.
