Lane was a prominent producer of modern American furniture in the 1940s–70s. (They have since regressed to overstuffed “contemporary” styles). This “Acclaim” dresser, circa 1960, still has the original sales pamphlet.
Despite its name, Baskerville Old Face could be used in a youthful way. It was the typeface of at least one other maker of modern furnishings, Habitat.
It’s possible that the Baskerville used here was known by some other name, such as Fry’s Baskerville.

Pretty much any American child who crawled under furniture in the 1970s saw this mark. I still remember it on the furniture I grew up with.
