A stenciled rendition of Triade’s Slanted and Backslant styles, sprayed onto a wall in Dieffenbachstraße, Berlin-Kreuzberg, and spotted by onnola in May 2020. The portrait below the radical feminist slogan appears to be from a series of “forgotten females” and shows anarchist and pacifist Emma Goldman (1969–1940).
I can’t be sure about that, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the quick dissemination of a relatively recent commercial typeface (2016) from a small foundry (Coppers and Brasses from Montréal, Canada) to a non-commercial user in Berlin was due to the font’s availability on Fontstand, an app that allows one to try fonts for free or rent them by the month.
