On Dob street, Budapest, there are two houses, that signaled the start of the future Madách Avenue – which was never built. This publication (66 pages) documents the research about Madách Avenue 46/b. The work is divided into four sections: the first (past) deals with the rich history of the building – both from a humane and urbanistic viewpoint; the second (present) shows the present state; and using these pictures the third (material) examines closely and more abstractly the materials used in the house. Finally, in the fourth chapter (forms) different digital exercises are shown, based on the structures of the house. These experiments and forms conclude in a summoning poster inspired by the whole process. The cover of the book is embossed with one of these complex forms.
