Designed by Hal Fiedler for Photo-Lettering, Inc., spanning five weights and four widths, with two open styles. [PLINC One Liner 1971] Already shown in 1965 in 12 styles, [PLINC 1965] accompanied by Fiedler Monogothic, a variant series with lower contrast. Not yet shown in 1960 [PLINC 1960], but used in 1963.

The Compugraphic version was digitized in 1992 by Agfa in a single style and is now available as PL Fiedler Gothic.
