    I think this might be something close to Fielder Gothic but not quite it. The lowercase t does not seem to match but I guess it could have been altered for the ad.

  2. Hi Reed,

    Fiedler Gothic was originally drawn by Hal Fiedler for Photo-Lettering, Inc. In 1971, the series spanned 5 weights and 4 widths, with 2 open styles. Their 1965 catalog had already shown 12 styles. There were four different forms for t.

    The digitally available version is a mere shadow of the design’s former self, and only has one style, without alternates. It was made pre-OpenType, by Agfa in 1992, based on the Compugraphic version.
