First cast in 1909 by Klingspor. A halbfett was added in 1911 and a Kursiv (with swash alts) in 1912 [Reichardt 2011]. Comes with Zierbuchstaben (swash caps/initials) for roman and Kursiv.
Gerhard Helzel’s digitization (1995–2002) spans all three styles in a large size (72pt; the Bold is used for the sample) as well as the Regular and Italic in a small size (c. 10pt). János Hunor Vári’s Tiemann Reviaeval is a digital interpretation of the roman (12pt) as a semester project at ECAL in 2022, supervised by Alice Savoie (unreleased). Yevgen Anfalov announced another revival, to be released with Kyiv Type Foundry in 2023.
