Schadow

Released as Schadow-Antiqua in 1938, named after 18th-century German classical sculptor, Johann Gottfried Schadow [ad in Gebrauchsgraphik, Aug 1940]. A total of six styles were developed until fett (Bold) in 1952 [Reichardt 2011], with Forum I and Forum II as display companions.
