The Cyrillics of the extended Halvar Breitschrift are used for subheadings and quotes paired with the bold and strong Mittelschrift for headlines. Halvar is “an industrial sans with nods to typefaces based on blunt geometry like DIN 1451” (v–fonts.com). Ilya Ruderman, Yury Ostromentsky, and Maria Doreuli consulted on the Cyrillic. Body copy is set inIBM Plex Sans, a design that has similar squarish moments and an engineered appeal also found in Halvar.
