Norman Fucking Rockwell is the sixth studio album from American singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey. Del Rey embarked on a stylised comic-art direction for this release, with an accompanying photo shot by Chuck Grant. The artwork references the 2018 California wildfires and pays homage to Norman Rockwell through the painted sky. Taken as a whole, the album cover uses Biff Bam Boom to underline the camp pastiche of the imagery.
Eschewing the typical “Lana Del Rey” wordmarks as used in previous projects, the cover instead uses a monogram composed of the singer’s stacked initials with a red outline. The typeface and monogram are used elsewhere in promotional material, such as on Del Rey’s website or on the US tour poster (shown below). There, the city names are set in a number of typefaces, including Streamline, Binner, House Slant, Pistilli Roman (or similar), and others. The venues and dates use Avenir.
