EWVA is an open initiative that invites you to review the presence of women in the visual arts. A kind of voluntary self-control to observe one’s own actions and to actively change the situation. We believe that raising awareness of the current unsatisfactory situation for women in the fine arts is the prerequisite for launching an improvement in the direction of gender equality. — Excerpt from EWVA website
