Excerpt from Studio Tillack Knöll’s website:

After ten regular issues and the Anniversary Issue in 2022, THE OPÉRA Magazine for Classic & Contemporary Nude Photography reemerges, like a phoenix from the ashes, in a new layout and with a contemporary design concept. The emphasis remains on a predominantly feminine perspective on the human body, vividly and authentically manifested in The Phoenix Issue through the works and artist statements of numerous female photographers.

The 11th issue of The Opéra was edited by Matthias Straub, published by Kerber Verlag and designed by Studio Tillack Knöll. The magazine is typeset in TWK Ghost Regular & Italic by Nolan Paparelli for headlines, texts and captions, supplemented by Gerstner-Programm FSL by Forgotten Shapes for the page numbers.

3 Comments on “The Opéra magazine, issue XI, “Phoenix””

  1. Beautiful. Just commenting for credit complementation: the cover picture is work by Honey Long and Prue Stent.

  2. Thank you Ignacio! And thanks for the precision about the cover picture; crediting each photographer would be quite complicated here, that’s why there are no credits for the pictures. There are more information and photo credits on Studio Tillack Knöll's website though.

  3. Thanks for my side as well, Ignacio. The main focus of the credits on Fonts In Use is to mention those who are responsible for the typographic design including concept, typeface selection, layout, typesetting …

Having said that, we don’t mind crediting other roles as well. Typically the best place to do so is in the description text.

crediting each photographer would be quite complicated here

In this case, with many different photographers, it’s also possible to add captions underneath the images – similar to how on Studio Tillack Knöll did it on their website. It’s not a requirement, though.
