The Liminal Sneeze is a book with a collection of comics by cartoonist and performer Malcy Duff from Edinburgh, Scotland. The drawings were originally serialized as weekly emails sent to friends from April 10th to June 19th 2020. The book was published in February 2021.
The cover has a graphic typography featuring BallPill (2020) that lends itself to Duff’s style with clean shapes and plays between background and shapes. The title is set perpendicular to the artist’s name and is part of the drawing, hinting at the reading direction of the book, as does the logo of the publisher, Landfill Editions.
