This special issue n°170 of Revue 303 titled Batailles et Résistances (“Battles and Resistance”) was designed by Appelle Moi Papa and published by Éditions 303. From Appelle Moi Papa’s website (translated):
[…] we explored war imagery: illustrations of conflicts, military cartographies… An abstract graphic vocabulary made of grids and geometrical shapes was created. This simple system allowed us to evoke notions of movement, grouping, attraction or repulsion. The manufacturing choices affirm the warlike aspect of the project by playing on the matte and shiny aspect of the support.
Guy-Pierre Chomette wrote the editorial. The typography pairs Solid Mineral by Benoît Bodhuin with Hind by Manushi Parikh
