In 2014 Humanoids published an updated English edition of Jean-Claude Forest’s science fiction comic book Barbarella – fifty years after the French original came out in book form. In 2015, the first English adaptation of Book 2 (first published in 1974) followed. Both volumes were adapted by Kelly Sue DeConnick.
The advanced substitution features in Ed Interlock ensure that of the many repeating characters in Barbarella’s name, only two A’s have the same form. Secondary text on the covers is set in another House Industries release: Neutraface.
