Poster for an exhibition of new acquisitions at The New York Public Library. Part of the new acquisitions included first editions of Golden Cockerel Press books. One of these, The Travels & Sufferings of Father Jean de Brébeuf, is set in Perpetua by Eric Gill. Hence the typeface for the poster. The headline type is set in metal by Stinehour press. The text is phototype.
