Shapiro was first released in 2018 in 34 styles
spanning four subfamilies: ten weights of normal width (5–95), six
Text weights (25–75) plus one 36 Inclined style, six Wide weights
(45–95) plus one 96 Inclined style, eight Extended weights (45–115)
plus one outlined (97 Air Extd) and one 116 Inclined style.
Shapiro Base (2019) is a version in 18 weights of
normal width (5–115) plus one 34 Italic style. Shapiro
Pro (2019) is a revision in four subfamilies: condensed (8
weights, 12–82), Text (7 weights, 14–74), Display (eleven weights,
16–116), and wide (11 weights, 18–118), all with italics.
In 2024, the family was redrawn and restructured again.
Shapiro now has two widths, normal and Wide, each with
seven weights plus italics. Also available in variable font format.
