Issued by Filmotype in c.1958. [specimen] Designer unknown. (Devroye credits Kathy McCord, but must be confused with the musician whose album used similar type in 1970.) Similar to Futura, but with flat-sided counters (‘a, b, d, g, p, q’) and vertically sheared terminals on curved strokes. Added to the Berthold Fototypes library in 1969 [ad]. Also known as Slimline.
