Designed by Heinrich Hoffmeister and issued by Stempel as Amts-Fraktur in six styles in 1906–12 [Reichardt 2011] together with Amts-Antiqua (see Madison-Antiqua). Available with Cyrillics [Wetzig 1926–40]
Adopted for the Linotype and also named Moderne Fraktur. The eng halbfett (bold compressed) style was adopted by Ludlow as Ludlow Fraktur Number 16-1.
