Wedge Gothic

Wedge Gothic was cut by BB&S in 1893 for the Chicago Herald. Renamed Japanet in 1925. Recast by ATF in 1954 [McGrew 1993].

VGC had a phototype adaptation as Japanette [VGC 1972].

Digitized by HiH as Wedge Gothic. SoftMaker’s and FontSite’s versions are named Japanette.
