To bring the spot to life in an ownable way, we crafted the OLLYverse — from lighting, set development, and color palette, to the custom typographic elements built into each set and space.
Olly’s whole identity consistently features the almost ubiquitous Gotham. Even their logo looks like a customized version of the typeface, with narrower L and a Y featuring a higher waist. But for this campaign, &Walsh decided to make a side-step and use another sans serif, meaning NaN Hyena Noon, in its Ultra weight. It seems that, with this choice, &Walsh wanted to double down on the notions of boldness (pun intended), confidence, but also give a more personal voice to the campaign.
