Ideal was patented in 1884 by Henry H. Thorp for Cleveland Type Foundry (though it is not clear he designed the face). All caps, with ‘A’ and ‘R’ alts.
Chameleon appears to be the same design paired with Light Face Runic for a lowercase.
Penelope (Dan X. Solo, 2004, used for sample) is a digital interpretation with added lowercase. Penelope (Dieter Steffmann, 2000, no lowercase) is a previous digitization allegedly based on a showing on page 17 in the Solotype catalog from 1992 [font data]. Other sources must have been consulted as well (probably the 1990s showing in Decorative Display Alphabets), as that sample includes only a few glyphs.
