This self-titled LP was the first and only studio album by Jackson C. Frank (1943–1999). Recorded by Paul Simon with contributions by Al Stewart and Art Garfunkel, it was released in December 1965.

It looks like the type treatment started out with William A. Woolley’s Braggadocio, with condensed (squeezed) proportions. The designer apparently didn’t like the tapering J and replaced it by a glyph with dot-shaped terminal as found in the similar Futura Black. F is also closer to Paul Renner’s typeface. K appears to be entirely custom.
