4AM Fórum pro architekturu a média
“From January 2011 till December 2012 the 4AM Forum for Architecture and Media has run the Gallery of Architecture in Brno” on Starobrnenská 16/18 (Google Street View). The labels spell out the visible elements of the facade: ‘corner’, ‘white space’, ‘window’, ‘building inscription’, ‘ideal void’.
4AM Forum for Architecture and Media:
… represents an open platform of experimental approaches and a wide range of activities related to architecture, urbanism, urban space, contemporary art, and new media.
The main actor in this typographic identity is Eric Olson’s Lingua (Process Type Foundry, 2003), which essentially “is a hard geometric sans; [but] with the ligatures activated, a near upright script springs to life.” Here, ample use has been made of Lingua’s nearly 200 discretionary ligatures.
