The Terminal Man is a 1974 American horror science fiction film directed by Mike Hodges, based on the 1972 novel of the same name by Michael Crichton. Starring George Segal and Joan Hackett, the film centers on the danger of mind control and the power of computers.
The movie title uses Hiroshi Yamashita’s Alpha Midnight with select bits colored in red. The credits are added in caps from an unidentified (custom?) typeface with similarities to ABC Sans and Zarana.

I wonder if the secondary typeface is related to a typeface that is very similar to Corporate Gothic and, according to Patrick Concannan, was used in several books published by The Times Mirror Company from around 1975. Here’s a sample that Patrick provided, squeezed to about two thirds of its original width:
It was definitely a custom corporate typeface. I believe the typeface was an adaption of Handel Gothic, designed by Donald J. Handel in 1965 and who worked for Saul Bass.
