An illustrated French language Belle Époque book from 1903, on plants and their ornamental use, featuring an unusually small size of Grasset used to set the entire body along with hand drawn letters for the titles and captions.

The illustrations were made by the author himself. They are signed with two monograms, both of which appear to feature the initials of Maurice Pillard Verneuil (MPV).
The book was printed by Macon, Protat Frères, who might have taken care of the typesetting as well.
