Take Back Mokum portrays the housing struggle in Amsterdam today. For a book focused on Amsterdam, typographer Jan Egbers selected a typeface with local roots: MD Lórien, by Mass-Driver (based near The Hague), is a 21st-century take on Baroque-era Dutch type, particularly designs from the Haarlem-based Enschedé foundry.
