Hanyi Fonts designed the custom Chinese typeface Hanyi ClashRoyale (汉仪皇室战争体) for Clash Royale and Supercell’s presence in the Chinese market. This typeface complements Supercell’s existing Latin font, Supercell-Magic (a custom version of You Blockhead), and aims to provide a consistent brand identity across languages.
Hanyi ClashRoyale is a companion to Supercell-Magic. The design incorporates elements from that typeface, notably the subtly curved terminals, to establish visual harmony between the Latin and Chinese scripts. The Chinese characters feature block-like forms with a distinct, irregular geometric structure. This geometric approach contributes to the font’s playful character while maintaining legibility.
