The Musée national de Céramique is celebrating its 200th birthday with an exhibition entitled Merveilles! from 11 October 2024 to 10 March 2025. The museum houses almost 50,000 works, including ceramics of course, but also graphic arts, paintings and even samples of raw materials. Of these fabulous collections, dating from prehistory to the present day and coming from all five continents, only a tiny fraction is currently accessible to the public. Extravagant, virtuoso or unusual, more than five hundred objects from the reserves tell the story of this unusual museum in ten surprising tableaux. Transformed into an ideal curiosity cabinet, the Museum offers curious visitors of all ages a series of delightful monthly events.
