Talismagic is a book designed in 2024 by Denise Jansen. She exclusively used various styles of the variable font Tonka, created by Céline Hurka and Huw D. Williams. Shani Leseman describes it as follows:
Talismagic is a publication documenting a series of 100 unique ceramic talismans created by artist Shani Leseman in 2022. The book features photographs of each talisman, accompanied by four commissioned texts by Jasmijn Mol, G.C. Heemskerk, Alara Villa, and Laila van Berge, exploring themes of magic, symbolism and language. The book is limited to a print run of 100, every book has its own unique cover showing one ceramic Talisman.
