Thank you, James!
Pop Up is derived from Univers, the typeface chosen by Banks & Miles for the Which? identity. According to a showing in Modern Publicity, it was designed by Colin Banks, possibly as a custom display variant with added long shade. In the design annual, it’s depicted with outline – just like on the food guide.
Sometime after 1970, it was made available by London-based type provider Photoscript. Their 1973 specimen has it as Pop-Up (with hyphen), now without outline.
