From Steam:
America, 1961. The assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. The Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty.
Wolfenstein 2’s user interface follows mostly the same footsteps as its previous entries’, evoking the feeling of its time period yet remaining sleek and clean. The menus take on the appearance of a dirty slide projector, whereas in-game elements such as tutorials are instead presented in a minimal look. There is a heavy usage of muted colors such as greens and oranges, with brighter colors reserved for vital information.
The series’ logo I believe is done using lettering. The subtitle, “The New Colossus”, uses Futura Book. The only typeface used for the interface is Univers, specifically the Roman and Bold variants along with their oblique counterparts. I think it’s the perfect typeface for this game as not only is it believable in terms of time period, it heavily enhances the dieselpunk aesthetic of Wolfenstein 2 and just looks stylish in general.
