The Women of Vision Awards is the Ms. Foundation’s largest annual fundraising event, honoring leading feminist advocates, activists and thought-leaders working for gender and racial equity.
Some of the highlights are a bold combination of typography, an analogue color palette consisting of red and orange and rasterized illustrations which move with the cursor.
The two typefaces used only in upper case are Tombstone Blues by Ensamble (an independent brand strategy and design studio based in Manchester, UK) and Bebas Neue by Dharma Type. The single page website itself can be navigated by either scrolling or clicking the menu.
As one scrolls done there is a section for honorees. You can scroll through the honorees. While doing so the website stays in place. Only the names one after another get highlighted and the picture with text changes accordingly.
At the bottom one can find more information sponsors and buttons to apply or donate which invert while hovering over them.
