On the occasion of the upcoming release of their new album Pelo de Foca, I have created a new visual identity for the rock band Ultraligera, drawing inspiration from ancient shamanic cultures and the avant-garde works of filmmakers like Alejandro Jodorowsky and Fernando Arrabal.
The designs feature esoteric symbols, mystical glyphs, and surreal imagery that blend seamlessly with contemporary typography and psychedelic motifs. The intricate illustrations adorn Ultraligera’s logo, album art, merchandise, and promotional materials.
In developing the new branding, I aimed to capture the boundary-pushing spirit of Ultraligera’s music through visuals that channel both ancient wisdom and modern artistic expression. The resulting identity immerses fans in a transcendent world that challenges conventional realities.
With this new look, Ultraligera embraces a bold artistic vision that cements their status as torchbearers of a countercultural renaissance fusing music, art, and spirituality.
