DR-BB exhibiton catalogue
DR/BB is a double catalogue accompanying two exhibitions: Technical Problem (“Problem techniczy”) by Bartek Buczek and Lockout (“Lokout”) by Dominik Ritszel. The publication addresses both exhibitions, but its format enables a distinct engagement with each of them.
Bartek Buczek played a pivotal role in Dominik Ritszel’s exhibition Lockout by designing its spatial arrangement and contributing to its assembly. The involvement of Bartek Buczek in the implementation of Lockout is a manifestation of a broader understood, complex problem of institutional aesthetics, the role of labor in the art world, and the issue of the ways in which artists – much like actors, perform the roles assigned to them in this world.
