gris tormenta Publishing is a workshop that conceives, edits, and publishes distinctive collections of books at the contemporary intersection of writing, reading, and editing. Through literary essays and memoirs, it delves into the very concept of the book itself, exploring its possibilities, components, and structures.

Each collection—and every title—is a response to a question, an idea, or a debate sparked by the publisher itself. Rather than just discovering new writers, it offers fresh perspectives on texts, concepts, and authorship.

Published between 2018 and 2024, the Editor collection aims to uncover rare discoveries and original narratives delving into the inner workings of the modern literary landscape—a captivating odyssey guided by the inquisitive spirit of an editor.

In the typographic design of this collection, typefaces are meticulously chosen to blend elegance with modernity by Sé, taller de ideas (Querétaro, Mexico), led by designer Mauricio Sánchez. Didot LT Std (51pt) commands attention for the author’s surname, while Brandon Text Regular (9pt) by HVD Fonts ensures readability for the author’s name. On the cover, Brandon Text Black (17pt) grabs attention for the title, with the Medium (7pt) variant offering a brief summary. The publisher logo, in Minion (14pt), adds a classic touch. Inside (not shown here), Stempel Garamond (11.40pt) is used for text paragraphs, ensuring both readability and a classic aesthetic.

Each book in the series has 76 to 113 pages, measures approx. 4.7×7.1×0.2 inches, and weighs about 110–165 g. The books come in paperback binding with flaps.
