The main logo design of City Stars Records

Renowned electro house DJ Tujamo has recently launched City Stars Records, a label that not only showcases his own music but also highlights emerging talent within the genre.

Inspired by his global nightlife experiences, the label’s design centers around a globe motif, symbolizing its worldwide reach. Simbayu Studios has developed a cohesive visual identity, where each release features a color-changing theme. Recently, they’ve also introduced imagery reflecting the distinctive aesthetic of house music. The Booty Bold typography creates a strong visual presence for the main titles, while TWK Lausanne adds a sleek, modern feel to the artist listings. In the examples shown here, you can see different types of styles.

For the accompanying videos, the goal was to craft a vibrant, pulsating atmosphere through dynamic visuals, using a vivid, evolving color palette or striking imagery with each new release, while maintaining a consistent typographic structure with Booty Bold for the main titles and Lausanne for the artist names.
